Created in 1971, Dior timepieces are designed in their studios at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, and created by a team of horological experts in the cradle of the worldwide Swiss watchmaking industry at La Chaux-de-fonds. Dior quite naturally turned to the best possible partners for its watchmaking — ETA, Zenith, Quinting, Concepto and Maison Bunter, adhering to their strict assembly and testing standards.

Aesthetically speaking, Dior watchmaking draws its inspiration from the concept of refined and elegant Couture clothes. The dials and cases, with their intricate graphic work, precious stones and Dior elegance, are perfectly complemented by the horological detail revealed by the tinted sapphire glass case backs, showing the hidden luxury of the Dior Christal and Chiffre Rouge automatic movements.
