Many of the Cartier watches are the most recognizable designs on the planet, including the Santos watch, established in 1904 when Louis Cartier presented Brazilian pilot Alberto Santos-Dumont with a new wristwatch following his remark at the lack of reliable timepieces in the cockpit. One hundred years later, Cartier brought back this model in a bold and new dimension with the launch of the Santos 100 watch.
