The New Tudor Black Bays

Tudor makes two stylishly understated additions to the iconic Heritage Black Bay family with the introduction of the Black Bay Steel and the Black Bay S and G. Refined yet rugged, the all-steel version offers a modern twist on Tudor’s classic dive watch, while the two-tone S&G version adds a touch of formality.

Both models are presented in Tudor’s familiar 41mm steel case, and both are equipped with the Manufacture Calibre MT5612, which introduces the date function into the Heritage Black Bay line-up for the first time.

For the Black Bay Steel, Tudor offers a modern interpretation of its vintage-inspired dive watch, with an all-steel version complete with bezel insert crafted from circular satin-brushed steel and a red triangle at 12 o’clock. Other highlights include the line of red text on the dial highlighting the maximum guaranteed water resistance – 200m or 600ft - inspired by rare Tudor models from 1955, the iconic snowflake hands and of course the oversized crown.

The Black Bay S&G version meanwhile, features a yellow gold bezel with a matt black anodised aluminium disc and gold markings. The distinctive, oversized screw-down winding crown is also in yellow gold as are the central links of the steel bracelet. The black dial features yellow gold highlights too, giving this watch a particularly formal feel, making it the perfect choice for work or play.

The automatic MT5612 movement beats at 4Hz and offers an exceptional 70-hour power reserve. The movement is regulated by a variable inertia oscillator with silicon balance spring and has been certified as chronometer by the COSC, guaranteeing its accuracy and longevity.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel is available in store now on steel bracelet for $4,540 or a fine calf leather strap for $4,160. The Tudor Heritage Black Bay S&G is also available in store now on a steel and gold bracelet for $5,990 or a fine calf leather strap for $5,440.
