2007 marks the 50th anniversary since the launch of the Omega Speedmaster which was first released in 1957. To commemorate this event, Omega have launched a limited edition 1957 Omega Speedmaster.
Only 1,957 watches will be available for sale worldwide making the Omega 1957 Speedmaster an extremely rare and collectable item. It is presented in a limited edition wooden box with a black leather band and professional watch making tools to change the strap and bracelet.
The limited release Speedmaster
features a striking black enamel dial and the Calibre 3201 movement with co-axial escapement.
Maintaining true to the famous manual-winding chronograph movement that was worn on the Moon whilst incorporating the latest in mechanical watch technology.

The official launch was held at the Collins Street Boutique in Melbourne. Magnums of Ruinart’s famous Blanc de Blanc and Rose Champagnes were provided exclusively by Moet & Hennesy for the occasion.
