THE TUDOR STYLE 38
TUDOR is adding a range of new aesthetic features to its Style line of classic watches. A fluted bezel and coloured dials enhance the line with its retro-chic touches inspired by TUDOR watches of the 50s, 60s and 70s. The Style line provides a contemporary take on the classic and elegant wristwatch, a form of expression which TUDOR has continued to tap into throughout its history, with models with evocative names such as Prince or Tuxedo. Drawing on the aesthetic codes born out of the 50s, 60s and 70s, this retro-chic style watch in steel or steel and gold, illustrates the careful attention to detail paid by TUDOR to all its creations.
FLUTED BEZEL AND BATON HANDS
The Style line is recognisable by its distinctive double bezel and dauphine hands. Newly available is an additional design with a steel or 18-carat gold fluted bezel and baton hands in case sizes 28, 34, 38 and 41 mm diameter. The bezel design brings an unrivalled radiance to this watch, thanks to its myriad of polished facets. This fluted finish is an integral part of TUDOR’s aesthetic heritage, and its inclusion in the Style line emphasises the brand’s long tradition of producing classic dress watches.
NEW BLUE, BURGUNDY AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL DIALS
The dial is central to the watch and plays an essential role, which is why TUDOR pays it the utmost attention. Lacquered to give greater depth of colour, Style line dials are interspersed with markers inspired by the timepieces of the 1950s, including the famous double markers at 12 and 6 o’clock. Modernity shows in their meticulous finish. Three-dimensional and beautifully bevelled on four faces, the batons lend the watch an intense brilliance. Two new dial colours are being introduced: blue sunray and burgundy sunray. These come in addition to the existing options of gloss black, champagne sunray and silver sunray. Exclusively on a 28 mm diameter model, the choice of dials is completed with an option in mother-of-pearl with diamonds at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
