In 2019, the watch is presented in a new model version limited to 100 timepieces: the LANGEMATIK PERPETUAL HONEYGOLD. The case, hands, appliques, lunar disc and buckle are crafted from honey gold. Patented and used exclusively by A. Lange & Söhne, the gold alloy not only has a unique warm hue but is also exceptionally hard and robust. On the argenté-coloured dial, the large Roman numerals underlaid with an embossed ring stand out clearly.

When the LANGEMATIK PERPETUAL was launched in 2001, it was the first mechanical wristwatch that combined a perpetual calendar with a Lange outsize date.
