Detailed features & specifications
Originally conceived by Gérald Genta in the 1970s, the Ingenieur set the benchmark for modern luxury sports watches. The Ingenieur Automatic 40, Reference IW328907, carries forward that spirit with a refined 40 mm stainless steel case, round bezel fixed with five polygonal screws, and an integrated H-link bracelet with alternating polished and satin finishes.
Its striking blue dial, decorated with the collection’s signature grid pattern, creates a dynamic backdrop for rhodium-plated hands and appliques enhanced with luminescence. Inside, the IWC-manufactured calibre 32111 delivers a robust 120-hour power reserve, while a soft-iron inner case ensures protection against magnetic fields. Water resistant to 10 bar, the Ingenieur Automatic 40 combines ergonomic precision with bold design
