As worn by iconoclast Steve McQueen in his 1970 film “Le Mans”, the square faced watch with distinctive blue dial with white sub dials has since become an enduring symbol of classic motor racing culture.
McQueen is still revered as a icon of independence, counter culture and masculinity. Before his soaring Hollywood Career, McQueen had stints in the circus, enlisted with the Marines and even trained martial arts with Bruce Lee.
