Detailed features & specifications
The Portofino Hand-Wound Moon Phase brings a poetic complication to the elegant Portofino line. For the first time, the collection integrates a moon phase display with the renowned 8-day hand-wound movement. The 45 mm stainless steel case frames a silver-plated dial featuring a moon phase at 12 o’clock, date at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 6 o’clock, and power reserve at 9 o’clock.
At its heart lies the IWC-manufactured 59800 calibre, delivering an impressive 192 hours of precision when fully wound. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement is beautifully finished and reflects IWC’s dedication to craftsmanship. The arched-edge sapphire crystal with antireflective coating ensures clarity, while a dark brown Santoni alligator leather strap completes the timeless design.
