Watches of Switzerland is now open at 307 Murray Street, Perth, dedicated to Rolex and Patek Philippe.

Two maisons, one address

307 Murray Street is dedicated to Rolex and Patek Philippe, and marks the arrival of Patek Philippe at Watches of Switzerland. Spaces for both maisons have been developed in Geneva, showcasing each of their latest design concepts. It joins our Raine Square boutique directly opposite, which remains open with the full Watches of Switzerland collection.

A heritage address, reimagined

The Faulding’s Buildings are among Murray Street’s landmark heritage properties. The building has been brought down to a single ground level, opening more than 300 square metres of retail space while respecting its heritage overlay. Working with the Perth City Council, we shaped a facade that balances the character of the Faulding’s Buildings with Europe’s great boutiques and boulevards, because a heritage address tells the same kind of story a Swiss watch does. Inside, natural stone, bronze detailing and considered lighting frame the watches rather than compete with them.

Thirty years in the making

Watches of Switzerland opened its first Perth store on King Street in 1997, founded by Eric van der Griend on the belief that the finest watches in the world should be matched by the finest service. The move to Raine Square followed as the market grew. Murray Street is the next chapter, and the realisation of a long-held ambition to give Rolex and Patek Philippe a home of their own.
